Meet Our Staff

Serge and Tara Goulet, Owners
Lionel and Helen Goulet bought Camping in Style in 1988 in Norland, Ontario. In 1993 they rented an old gas station lot on Hwy 12 in North Brooklin. It was then Serge took the helm and started to grow the business. In 1995 they purchased the restaurant property just north of the gas station, and converted the building into an RV Dealership. In 2000 Serge married Tara, a few years later, they purchased the adjoining gas station property.

Camping in Style now sits on 6 acres with a brand new 20,000 sq ft state of the art facility, with 6 massive service bays, a large parts and accessory store and beautiful new offices opening March 2009. The Goulet family and all the staff invite you to see what's new at Camping in Style. With 16 lines of towables and park models to choose from, we're sure we have something to suit every families needs. Fair prices, friendly faces and great service is what has kept our customers coming back for years. Whether its your first trailer or your 4th, we are driven by what our customers want, and look forward to earning your business.

Erroll Knight, Sales Manager
I have been in the RV Industry on the retail side since 1991. Having grown up camping with family and friends, making this a career choice wasn’t hard. We sell fun every day. In January 2009, I was welcomed into the Camping in Style family. The Goulet family and all their staff are a great bunch of people, and I am truly proud to be one of them. Laurie Kaufman, Business Manager
Laurie brings over 20 years of retail finance experience, and the last 10 years in the RV Industry to Camping in Style. It’s been proven that over 80% of retail customers finance their automobile and trailer purchases either through dealer financing or a line of credit. Laurie is always happy to educate customers on the differences, and go over their purchase options. From loan insurance to protection packages and extended warranties Laurie will help you make an educated decision in a very low pressure environment. A Lindsay gal, wife, mom and proud dog owner, Laurie knows RVing is about spending quality time with family and friends. She’ll make you feel right at home and is dedicated to making your experience at Camping in Style a happy one.

Gail Robinson, Service Manager
I have been the service manager at Camping in Style since 2001. I have had the pleasure to be a part of the outstanding growth the company has seen over the past few years. Prior to my joining the company, I was a co-owner and operator of a privately owned campground in Ontario for over 25 years. This provided me with the necessary knowledge of the industry and extensive experience dealing with campers. Since joining the team at Camping in Style, the work has become a part of my life and my co-workers are like a second family to me. We laugh and cry together, but most importantly, we strive to satisfy our customers and ensure that their camping experience is a great one!

Mike Leger, Service and Warranty
I started at Camping in Style in 2004. I'm very happy being in a position that feeds my "need to please" frame of mind, dealing with customers. As the RV industry grows, I find we're constantly learning. The fact that I'm at a company that calls it's customers family and has such a great atmosphere within it's staff, prides me to try to exceed the expectations of a customer, be it first time owner of a seasoned full timer.

Derek DeGraw , Sales Consultant
I have a long work history in sales and assisting others and began working at Camping In Style in 2006. My main objective is to give my customers a professional, well-informed, and enjoyable purchasing experience. I work diligently to keep up on my product knowledge so I can help my clients make their best selection. I really enjoy what I do. It's very gratifying to see my customers get into a floor plan and product that they love. I know they are on their way to having good times and fond memories and I'm happy to be a part of that.

Abe Slomovitz, Sales Consultant
Abe is a real people person and loves RVing as much as anyone. Having started with a Tent Trailer, then a 28’ Travel Trailer and recently moving up to a  36’ Carriage Fifth Wheel, Abe is always happy to share his experience with customers and other RVer’s alike. Having a technical background, Abe decided 5 years ago it was time to try his hand at something he truly loves. A Scugog Island, resident, Abe, his wife and 3 dogs like to spend all their free time “Camping in Style” and hooking up with friends whenever they can. If your into technical advice, you’ll also enjoy talking to Abe and appreciate his truthfulness and good nature.

Shawn Berger, Sales Consultant
Shawn brings over 20 years of technical retail experience to Camping in Style. Having enjoyed camping for most of his  life, Shawn jumped at the opportunity to join our sales team. A Port Perry resident and family man, he knows how important time with the family is and what better way to do this than camping. Were confident you’ll appreciate Shawn’s honest, friendly approach and dedication to making his customers happy.
